Brown Elementary School Daily Schedule

School opens at 8:45
School Starts at 9:00am.
School Closes at 3:00pm.

Goals of this schedule:

·       create continuous blocks of quality time for learning
·       reduce the amount of interruptions in the afternoon
·       provide more usable time for art, music and PE scheduling
·       create fewer children on the playground at a time
·       separate lunch and recess sessions for K-3 and 4-5

Bell Schedule

Kids arrive in classroom all teachers greet children at the front door and bring them to their rooms.

Morning session begins for K - 5

Grades K -2 go to lunch.  Teachers escort students to the lunch room tables.
 
Grades 3 - 5 go to recess.  Teachers escort students to the playground.
